Noise at work
Noise at work regulations are now in force for entertainment venues.
Noise at work exposure values are defined in the Physical Agents directive 2003/10/EC. These values are adopted in the UK as the "Control of Noise at work regulations 2005".
The Physical Agents directive requires that the following standards be adopted in relation to noise at work
First action Level 80dBA (8 hr)
Second Action Level 85 dBA (8 hr)
Exposure limit value 87 dBA with or without hearing protection
We provide health and safety surveys in regard to noise to ensure that your employees are not exposed to excessive noise while working in your premises. Surveys are carried out for industrial noise and entertainment noise.
