Models can be created for both existing buildings and proposed buildings. Existing buildings with acoustic problems can be modeled and solutions identified prior to the work being carried out. Verification measurements to validate the accuracy of the model are carried out to ensure reliability.
In the case of proposed buildings/rooms information is taken from the architects plans along with information regarding the surface materials and the model built accordingly.
